installing and building gpstk on ubuntu
Posted on 25 Dec, 2015 by SermetOgutcu

| Hello everyone, I just installed gpstk-2.5.linux.x86_64 for linux 64 bit version. I'm having difficulty for installation and compiling. I tried this way as follows (from installation documentation)

I extracted tarball; tar -zxvf gpstk-2.5.linux.x86_64.tar.gz

I created build directory within gpstk folder; mkdir build

then I execute; cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX:PATH=/path/to/install. B ut it gives error as follows; CMake Error: The source directory "/home/sorbilene/gpstk/gpstk-2.5.linux.x86_64/build" does not appear to contain CMakeLists.txt.

Could someone explain each necessary step for installation and compiling?
