Difference: ThreadSafety (r3 vs. r2)

I was wondering if the GPSTk library is thread safe or does the calling application need to handle all threading issues?

Hi Calum,

I recommend ensuring that the calling application handles threading appropriately -- the GPSTk core library does make use of pointers and performs operations on external files, either of which are likely to pose challenges for process threading.

Please let me know if this answered your question, or if you have a follow-up. Thank you!
